isn't one already), & if interesting discussion breaks out (or goes too off topic), posts maybe moved/copied to another thread.

Found this via a share to Endless Summer Quarterly's facebook community posts :

Dennis featured in a History Of Beard Styles on Men's Health website.

That photo is not from 1972. (1978 iirc) - fake edit - "New York,   6th September 1977" according to Getty,
& they probably didn't mean to upload a large version of the pic.

(Dennis so had to shave his neck so his beard and chest hair didn't merge  Big Grin
and what's the deal with that freakin' creepy clown t shirt?)

"Dennis Wilson, 1972

American singer, songwriter, and drummer Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys exemplified '70s style,
in part due to his long locks and overgrown beard.

Mario Abad is a style and grooming writer based in Manhattan."

(this list has some silly choices and some f***king ridiculous beards,
eta: seriously, nobody wants a beard that looks like an octopus.)
Dennis' bio on lyrics explanation site Genius.com (the original site was/is awesome for rap, maybe not so awesome
for pre 90s music - needs more contributors).

Born 1942 and passed away in 1983 Dennis Wilson crammed more living into one life that most could imagine.
Not only that, he had rare talent for creating music that could touch anyones heart with its sincerity."

Today's Google Alerts email for Dennis sent me a music news blog that seems to think
The Beach Boys planned July concerts at The Hollywood Bowl are celebrating their 50th anniversary & promoting their new album That's Why God Made the radio, plus "the first in decades to feature all of the band’s original surviving members" including Dennis & Carl.  *roll eyes* *smh* <the roll eyes smiley here looks too happy and  not eye rolley enough>.

Not sure if a really low quality, dated a day late, April Fools, or rubbish 'journalism' recycled from 2012.

eta: the offical Hollywood Bowl Beach Boys page has a detailed disclaimer - "The Beach Boys are led by Mike Love, who, along with longtime member Bruce Johnston, musical director Scott Totten, Brian Eichenberger, Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill, Keith Hubacher, and Randy Leago continue the legacy of the iconic band.
This concert will not feature Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, or David Marks"
